If you’re receiving calls from 800-823-2318, you’re not alone. Read what others have to say about Medi credit calls, and then share your story. We rely on those across the U.S. – people just like you – to report their experiences with callers like Medi credit. That’s how we’re able to pinpoint illegal callers and bring them to justice.

I have been receiving robocall messages on my answering machine for 6 months, asking me to call this phone number about an alleged debt to the Orange Park Medical Center, where I have NEVER even been a patient! I also have Medicare and Medicare Supplemental Insurance (plan F) that pays ALL deductibles and copays, so there is no possibility that I could owe any money, even if I was the right person. They apparently have the wrong phone number for some other patient, but they are too dumb to figure it out, after 6 months of calling my phone number. I filed a formal complaint with the FTC yesterday. The robocalls say that it is from Medicredit, a debt collection agency. I have NEVER received anything in the mail, from either the medical center or Medicredit, and any legit medical provider would have my correct address, phone number, insurance info, and all other contact info. That is why I assume they just have the wrong phone number for some other patient. I would have received bills, and collection letters, in the mail, if this was actually something I was involved with. So there is no possibility that these robocalls are anything that I need to deal with. And I would never call them back because they would just demand personal info that I would refuse to give them. It’s up to them to figure out that they have the wrong phone number. And since I am obviously not the delinquent patient, it won’t affect my credit rating either.Joanne
